Research domains

Applied research across three connected domains.

Our research is organised around how people interact with intelligent systems: through software, through intent, and through space. Each domain below separates what we are working on now from what we are still exploring.

D.01 · Domain

Artificial Intelligence

Active R&D

We build intelligent software systems: AI agents, automation and reasoning components, designed to be used inside real products rather than demonstrated in isolation.

Focus areas

  • 01
Intelligent software systemsSoftware that interprets context and adapts to the people using it.
  • 02
AI agents and digital employeesAgents that carry out multi-step tasks on a person’s behalf, with clear limits and oversight.
  • 03
Automation and reasoningSystems that plan, decide and act reliably on structured and unstructured information.
  • 04
Human–computer interactionInterfaces that make AI capabilities understandable and controllable.

Current work and exploration

Current

  • AI-driven interaction within real-time 3D and interactive systems
  • Applied AI components for our own products

Exploration

  • Agent-based software that completes end-to-end tasks
  • Reasoning systems that can explain their decisions
  • Natural-language interfaces to complex tools

Brain–Computer Interaction

CH1CH2CH3CH4
Exploratory

We are exploring how human intent could inform computing systems through non-invasive brain–computer interaction, and where that could make technology more accessible.

Early-stage research. RiyalVerse does not currently offer neural-interface products, clinical tools or medical devices, and makes no medical or diagnostic claims. Any future work involving people will follow appropriate ethical review and consent.

Questions we are investigating

  • 01
Human–computer–neural interactionHow interaction between people, computers and neural interfaces could be designed responsibly.
  • 02
Non-invasive approachesWhat consumer-grade, non-invasive sensing can and cannot reliably support.
  • 03
Intent and interactionHow signals of human intent could complement existing input methods.
  • 04
Assistive technologyWhere these interfaces could help people for whom conventional input is difficult.

Current work and exploration

Current

  • Reviewing existing research and non-invasive methods
  • Identifying interaction problems worth prototyping

Exploration

  • Experimental prototypes and interface concepts
  • Combining intent signals with spatial and AI systems

AR/VR & Spatial Computing

xyz
Piloted

We research and build spatial interfaces and real-time 3D environments, and increasingly combine them with AI so that digital systems can respond to physical context.

Focus areas

  • 01
Augmented and virtual realityHeadset and browser-based (WebXR) experiences that run across devices.
  • 02
Real-time 3D environmentsVirtual venues and simulations built for live use, not only for pre-rendered visuals.
  • 03
Spatial interactionHow people navigate, select and collaborate in three-dimensional interfaces.
  • 04
Spatial computing with AIPrototypes where intelligent systems understand and act within a spatial context.

Current work and exploration

Current

  • Immersive Event Platform, piloted in three live events (2024–2025)
  • VR and mixed-reality simulations for training and education
  • Browser-based WebXR experiences

Exploration

  • AI-assisted spatial interfaces
  • Interaction models for mixed-reality headsets

Method

How research moves toward product.

An applied R&D method rather than a fixed sequence. Not every project follows identical stages, and many loop back when the evidence calls for it.

  1. 01 —

    Research

Understand the problem, study existing approaches and identify where a technical opportunity actually exists.

  2. 02 —

    Experiment

Test hypotheses, compare methods and build early prototypes to learn what works.

  3. 03 —

    Engineer

Design the system architecture, core technology and the product experience around it.

  4. 04 —

    Validate

Evaluate reliability, usability, performance and whether the result is genuinely useful.

  5. 05 —

    Launch

Release what has been validated, then keep improving it through measured iteration.
